Do Not Disturb or DND for short is a mobile service setting that keeps your phone from receiving unsolicited messages in the form of SMS. The Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) introduced this to protect mobile phone subscribers from receiving unsolicited messages from the mobile network providers and from other number code unsolicited messages that subscribers receive from anonymous sources.  However activating the DND also affects important messages like job interviews and the likes, important messages from organizations you belong, and invitations from friends when they use a Bulk SMS service.
