NPOWER: All You Need to Know About the N-Build Programme

N-build
N-Build is an accelerated training and certification (Skills to Job) programme that will engage and train 75,000 young unemployed Nigerians in order to build a new crop of skilled and highly competent workforce of technicians, artisans and service professionals.

 The seven components of the N-build include;
Automobile
Carpentry and Joinery
Electrical Installation
Masonry
Painting and Decoration
Plumbing and Pipefitting
Welding and Fabrication

 Selection Criteria
Before you will be verified for selection, you must be;

  1. Currently Unemployed
  2. No degree or diploma Selection preferences
  3. Aged between 18-35
  4. Interest in fixing, building and creating things

For Pre-selection screening,
Pre-selected applicants are to present the following;
ID Card- Acceptable National Identity that shows your name,
Birth Certificate- Documents that corroborates your age,
Proof of address of residence.

 Verified applicants will be enrolled in the programme that will last for 12 months.
This will involve 3 months in training centers and 9 months in apprenticeship with partnering employers.
They will also get training work tools and training consumables distributed to training partners.
Verified beneficiaries will get a monthly stipend of N10,000 

 What can you do with the N-Build Skill?
N-Build members can aspire to a career in construction, works and housing. Possible destinations include:
Building/Construction Project Management
Furniture Making and Design
Electrical Maintenance and Repairs Services
Building and Construction services
Plumbing
Welding

Do Not Disturb or DND for short is a mobile service setting that keeps your phone from receiving unsolicited messages in the form of SMS.
