Everything You Need to Know About the YouWiN! Connect Reloaded Online Training and Assessment

YouWiN! Connect BREAKING NEWS….
Online training and Assessment has resumed after YouWiN! Completes routine maintenance on the portal.

After running the online training for about a 9 days, the YouWiN Connect team suspended the learning for One week (which is now being extended by a further one day) to carry out routine maintain ace on the portal.
However yesterday, a day before the day they were supposed to open up the portal again, the sent out a tough message which suggested the real for the suspension wasn’t for routine maintenance after all but to curtail the excesses of some participants who took advantage of a loophole in the online training to commit fraudulent acts. The message read in full;

Dear*********," ,
It has come to the attention of YouWiN! Connect that some participants of the Online Capacity building program are putting the integrity of the program at risk by fraudulently responding to assessment questions.
Fraudulent participants have created groups on WhatsApp and Facebook where they post screenshots of completed end-of-module assessments for others to copy and score the maximum points of 600. They have gone as far as publishing the answers in books and appending the YouWiN! Connect Logo on the publication.
This type of activity defeats the purpose of the Online training, as these participants are now focused on scoring the maximum points at the end-of-module assessment without learning from the content provided.
The program has taken measures to forestall these fraudulent activities by restructuring and resetting the assessments module.
Other measures taken include,
Identifying and flagging fraudulent accounts on the platform.
Resetting the assessment module. This means ALL participants are required to retake their assessment for each module hence the CD point deductions.
Any participant caught engaging in fraudulent activities will be removed from the program.
Lastly, the YouWiN! Connect program has not appointed any applicant or agent to act on its behalf in the delivery of online training or other program components. Anyone posing as an applicant whether successful or not with the purpose of defrauding innocent persons by offering additional training or other services is acting independently and does not represent YouWiN! Connect and we advise you to report them to the program.
Thank you.

Here are a few things you should be expecting when the portal reopens
1  1. All scores accruing from module assessments will be deducted. If yours have not been deducted already, they will be deducted, even if you scored 600+ or just less than 10. This because, everyone who would go further in the YouWiN Connect programme, would have to re-take (in the case that they have completed some or all the modules before the suspension) all the assessments from each module.

   2. The Module content will not likely change: YouWiN! Connect are not likely to change the module contents because there was nothing wrong with them in the frits place. And considering the amount of resources they must have invested in developing them; given there very high quality as every participant who have really studied them can attest, I do not see them making any changes as it concerns the module. The biggest indications that the module contents will remain the same is that as stated above the score on attendance and module activities have not been affected by the deductions.
3
      3.  Assessment Questions will receive very serious attention: considering the massive fraud and loopholes that characterized the module assessments before now, the YouWiN Connect team will likely do a serious overhaul of the assessment questions. There are likely going to be new questions, more practical than verbatim. The questions each person will receive at any material time of taking an assessment may vary, and they option too.  At the end of the assessment, you may likely only see your score and not how you performed per question.
4
4.There are now about 30 questions per and you will not change your choice after you have clicked the ‘Next Page” button. As the instruction reads

      5. Revise offline with the PDF slides: Especially if you would like to conserve data, you may not need to watch the videos all over. It would mean a waste of data especially if you have completed the modules before now. For your revision, you just need to go through the pdf material for each module before taking the assessment. It will help you revise.

We have the materials (slides) of all the Modules in PDF formats, BUT THEY  WILL ONLY BE MADE AVAILABLE FROM SATURDAY, 23RD DECEMBER, AFTER THE ONLINE TRAINING RESUMES. If you are interestedf in having this for your offline revision before taking your assessment, send your email address with “I’M INTERESTED IN THE SLIDES” as a WhatsApp message to 07087364947.
